1.The solid waste generated in the course of the experiment must be taken to prevent spreading, preventing loss, preventing leakage or other measures to prevent environmental pollution; No solid waste shall be dumped, stacked, discarded or dispersed without authorization.

2.The waste of harmful solid drugs shall not be dumped, disposed of and piled up without authorization, and it is strictly prohibited to dump them in the place of domestic garbage.

3.Waste is prohibited from mixed collection, storage and transportation, and should be disposed according to the characteristics of the waste, and the waste identification mark should be affixed to the collection bag to mark the nature of the waste. Hazardous waste must be disposed of after treatment and detoxification.

How to dispose solid waste:

Hazardous solid waste refers to the waste with the characteristics of hazardous waste that is included in the national list of hazardous waste or identified according to the hazardous waste identification standards and identification methods stipulated by the State, and can be divided into chemical solid waste (referred to as "chemical solid waste") and biochemical solid waste (referred to as "biochemical solid waste") according to its nature.

1.The disposal of chemical solid waste: refers to expired solid chemicals and waste solid chemicals generated during the experiment. The labels should be collected and affixed to the school for notification, uniformly handed over to the unit with the processing qualification for disposal, and the handling handover record should be made.

2.Disposal of biochemical solid waste: refers to the solid (solid) waste generated by various biomedical experiments and related discarded experimental equipment, including infectious waste, damaging waste, pathological waste, other general biochemical solid waste four categories, such as pipette, "gun head", blade, syringe, disposable gloves, EB glue, laboratory animal carcass and tissue.

The teaching laboratory shall use yellow special plastic bags to package the biochemical solid waste (excluding damaging waste), mark it, collect it by classification, and hand it over to the professional unit with disposal qualification designated by the school for processing, and make handover records. Among them:

Infectious waste must be sterilized in the laboratory prior to storage to reduce or limit its potential pathogenicity.

The damaged waste (sharps) must be placed in the sharps recycling box (generally 3/4 of the capacity is appropriate) and labeled well.

Note: The sterilization treatment methods are: high-pressure steam sterilization, waste must be placed in leakproof containers (such as yellow marked autoclavable plastic bags) for sterilization. Chemical disinfection, suitable for the treatment of liquid waste and the surface of objects, the surface of no holes and no adsorption of waste, disinfection effect is better; Commonly used chemical disinfectants are acid, alkali, aldehyde, ethanol, peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and so on. The type, concentration and disinfection time of chemical disinfectants should be determined according to the types of pollutants, pollution degree and protein content. For example, 2000mg/L effective chlorine disinfectant should be soaked for 1h for inactivation.
