The project of outdoor hazardous materials storage container for Changchun FAW - Part One

The ultra-high speed development has posed great challenges to the end of the industrial chain, such as the protection, storage, recycling and reuse of automobile batteries.
Changchun FAW, as the earliest established, largest scale and strongest R&D center for commercial vehicles in China, is a microcosm of the development of China's automobile independent R&D industry. In the safe storage of new energy vehicle batteries, it has always been in the forefront. This time, Changchun FAW's outdoor storage project of new energy batteries is its key safety demonstration project. It is very honored that ZOYET has become the landing cooperation partner of this Changchun FAW project. New energy lithium batteries have long cycle life, light weight and small volume, and wide working temperature range, but also have the risk of explosion and self-ignition. Combined with the climate characteristics of Changchun with large temperature changes throughout the year, ZOYET took into account various practical factors when designing and landing the storage project of FAW lithium batteries. On the basis of conventional hazardous materials storage focusing on explosion-proof and fire-proof, in accordance with industry standards, relying on project experience and case by case, the customized lithium battery temporary storage container project was realized.
Design & Detail Control
Main body of container structure
The whole container size design meets the requirement of storing 74 sets of batteries, and the outer container frame is made of weather-resistant steel plate + insulation layer, with fire rating up to A1 level. It meets the NEPSI inspection and provides explosion-proof certificate and EN 60079 explosion-proof certification (explosion-proof level ExⅡ2G Ex pⅡC T5 Gb), and EN13501 ,90 minutes fire resistance certification.
